VU-Rite Camera Through Second Story Roof

The flat roof makes our life a lot easier.  Here we are inspecting the line through one of the roof vents looking for obstructions or failures that are causing the blockages.

Unclogging a Sewer Through Roof Vent

July 8th, 2011 No comments

Our Drill & Eel set up makes quick work of any residential blockage.  Especially useful with hard to access sewers.  With this job, the original clean-out in the yard had most likely been covered by a concrete patio slab.  We went through the 3″ roof vent and cleared the line.

Sewer Leak in Crawl Space

Here a old lead wiped joint has separated/broke loose creating a big mess in the crawlspace under a two story home.  The separation has been leaking for quite some time and has damage to the sub floor and joist.

Tub Waste & Overflow Install

July 7th, 2011 No comments

Here and old lead Waste and Overflow on this tub had pulled apart and ceased functioning.  We pulled out the drawers in the bath and were able to make the repair in the tight quarters.  We replaced the Waste &Overflow and cleaned out the drum trap on the line.  Notice the large amount hair pulled from the drum trap.

Cleanig Area Drians for a Swimming Pool

June 25th, 2011 No comments

The pool here had 5 area drains protecting the house from flooding.  All of the drains we blocked with sediment, rock, trash, and roots.  We used a combination of the Electric Eel Model C and our Jetter to clean lines to allow proper drainage.

Here’s a look at one of our Monster Mole Jetting Nozzles in Action.

Here you can see the cleaning power of a Hydro Jetter in action!  These pictures are of our 1/4″ Monster Mole jetting nozzle at around 4000 psi.  The cleaning power a jetter can not be topped.  A jetter will destroy grease, clear hair and food blockages, and even cut roots using high psi and high water flow.  A jetter will also remove mineral deposits and corrosion from the inside surface of the pipe to allow for optimum draining.

Electric Eel 4″x6″ Expanding Finishing Blade

June 5th, 2011 No comments

Here’s a look at our 4×6 Expander Blade. The expanding blade from Electric Eel is the best finish blade out there. You won’t find to many drain cleaning companies that have this awesome tool in their arsenal. And we will run the Expander Blade down your line at no additional charge!  The blades expands and contracts to the contour of the pipe which will cut any and all roots that have penetrated into your line.  After running the expanding blade down the line and cleaning out all the roots we can then treat the line with RootX and then guarantee that roots will not re -penetrate the line for a full 12 months!

Another Roof Job

May 29th, 2011 No comments

This customer had a slow draining main, that has been backing up quite often.  Especially when running the washing machine.  After inspecting the line with our camera, we attacked the blockage from a 3″ roof vent, as clean-out in the yard was only a 2″.   It’s pretty easy to see why this line drained so slowly, the blockage was a combination of roots, leaves, and other debris.  It practically blocked off the entire pipe.  The Drill and Eel ripped it a new one.  All clear now.

Going the extra mile for out customers!

May 27th, 2011 No comments

This house was clogged up on one side causing sewage to backup out of shower drain and a floor drain in a mechanical room.  There was no way to reach the blockage from a two-way clean-out in the back yard as the problem area was located under the slab and caught off a combo.   Puling the toilet was an option, but only a last resort.  That option would have been costly for the homeowner as the toilet was a wall hung.  So we tackled the blockage from a 2″ vent on the roof.

Poorly Installed Trap

May 20th, 2011 No comments

During an excavation on a remodel we are working on, we exposed this beauty.  What you are looking at is poorly installed P-Trap under a Tub.  How this ever passed inspection in the first place I’ll never know.   More pictures of this remodel will be added soon.
